The KNIT fabric has been replaced by a lightweight, flexible and breathable mesh, updating the upper material by switching from Lycra to an elastic mesh.
Another new feature is the toe reinforcement: an injected rubber protector has been added to the inside of the toe, preventing damage to the shoe from friction.
This part is perforated to preserve lightness, breathability and flex. Another new feature is the tongue, where small holes have been added (BREATH TONGUE) to enhance breathability. Once again, we'd like to highlight the SOCK FIT adjustment on the instep which, combined with the new flexible mesh, helps support the foot. This support is complemented by the drawcord adjustment and TPU rear stabilizer.
The cut features seamless, heat-sealed technology which, combined with the new fabrics, offers the required flexibility and breathability. It features an ORTHOLITE sole, which optimizes the shoe's performance in terms of comfort and cushioning, wicks away perspiration and promotes circulation. It continues to have the hybrid micro-crampon / herringbone outsole that offers the perfect balance between travel and grip. Special attention needs to be paid to the ROTOX rotating disc system for fast turns. The FLEX RIFT system (channels in the front part of the sole) facilitates bending movements and the LATERAL MOVEMENT (longitudinal channel in the rear part) improves cushioning due to the expansion of the sole when it touches the ground.
The plant also gets extra balance, thanks to the flipper protruding from the outer front section.
Last but not least, the phylon midsole is responsible for providing the shoe with the necessary cushioning, guaranteeing stability thanks to semi-rigid TPU parts.
