Slam has made a name for itself in the niche market of padel shoes thanks to its recognized value for money, the use of cutting-edge technologies in sports footwear and the recommendation of professional players such as Juani Mieres, Javi Ruiz, Uri Botello, Teresa Navarro, Zazu Osoro and Javi Rico, among othersautres.
The attractive design, imitating the multiple trajectories of a padel ball during play, is inspired by abstract expressionism. It's a shoe suited to this sport, characterized by its cushioning, stability and high resistance to wear.
Its excellent cushioning is due to the use of the REACTIVEBALL system in the midsole. This is a material that expands easily, making it highly shock-absorbent when you step on it, and then quickly returns to its original shape for improved launch impulse. The midsole also features a higher-density phylon base for added stability.
The upper is highly breathable thanks to its ventilated mesh. This quality is much appreciated in sports practised on highly abrasive surfaces. To protect this part of the foot, we use the INYECTION PRINT system, injected rubber that comfortably supports the foot.
In the inner part of the foot, where there is greater wear due to lateral movements during play, a larger piece of rubber is inserted to protect the foot.
EXO COUNTER, the stability system created by a more rigid outer counter, supports the heel by adapting the shoe to the shape of the foot. In this way, support is stable in lateral slips and firm when the heel is called upon.
Stability is further enhanced by the STABILIS system, an injection-molded part that extends from the arch of the foot to the metatarsals, stabilizing the transition between supports. Thanks to this part, the shoe retains its shape throughout the game, does not bend and avoids inappropriate twisting.
The sole is manufactured using the DURABILITY system of high-density rubber that resists court wear. It features a deep herringbone pattern for good grip on the playing surface. This tougher material also protects the tip.
