Description
Traditionally, the coach of champions is presented in terms of his perfectionist demands. In this book, inspired by coaching and personal development methods, the author proposes tools that allow coaches to approach the question of the mind and the coach/trainee relationship differently. In this book, inspired by coaching and personal development methods, the author offers tools that allow coaches to take a different approach to the question of mental health and the coach/trainee relationship. The development of self-esteem as a factor in performance rather than a hope linked solely to the final result is the ethical and humanist challenge that Franck Bellard has been making for more than 15 years and which he defends as a coach-trainer at INSEP and here as an author. The challenge is to convince those involved in sporting excellence to cultivate a taste for exploration, change and innovation in a logic of optimizing performance and respecting the physical and psychological integrity of the athletes.
