Maxima is a model born in 2020 from the fusion between the LW (round shape created in 1995) and the Avant (teardrop shape created in 2009). The result is a rounded, teardrop-shaped racket designed for players looking for control without sacrificing power.
Airflow technology was developed in the Radio blades of the 2022 collection, now it has been innovated with an innovative core construction for the new AIRFLOW 2023, including the system of elongated and circular holes used in the Radio. This new construction, according to all the tests carried out with amateur players and PRO, transforms the racket into an excellent tool for mid- to high-level amateurs, and really helps them get more power in all their shots.
This professional-level paddle tennis racket features the Prisma frame, with which we've managed to reduce point frame contact with walls and surfaces by 90%, as well as air resistance by 10%. All this translates into improved maneuverability and greater acceleration on shots.
On the other hand, we have reinforced its most fragile point (the head) with an adhesive protector that adapts perfectly to its shape, the Prisma protector. This covers not only the frame, but also its junction with the plane of the blade.
The autres novelties in the 2023 collection will be the rough texture on the plane called Slice, which has been designed and developed with a series of curved lines that make the ball's surface adhere more closely to them. In these blades, the roughness is more perceptible than in any of the blades in the Summum 2022 range.
In addition, to resolve the changes that temperature exerts on blade materials, this model has been manufactured with two types of rubber: a softer one, called "W", recommended for use at low temperatures or down to 25ºC; and a harder one, called "S", recommended for use at temperatures above 25ºC.
For this reason, it is advisable to carry both spades in the racquet bag, so that the player can use one model or the other, depending on the ambient temperature.
As its nom indicates, the Maxima Summum Prisma incorporates Summum technology in its construction, which is based on the sum of several factors:
- A grip that's longer than usual, to offer players a more comfortable and professional grip, and also to facilitate the grip for those who use both hands on backhand shots.
-A 1 cm longer striking surface.
-And Diffuser Wings technology at its heart, with an aerodynamically improved diffuser that offers greater maneuverability and precision.
And last but not least, Handlesafety technology, a new safety system for the handle. Normally, all blades have a centered exit hole for the placement of the rope, which is attached to the handle's structure by means of a pin, rivets, nails, etc. However, with this system, the rope is not attached to the handle. However, with this system, the rope passes through both walls of the grip and comes out on either side of the ferrule, offering 100% safety and comfort in the grip.
